Self Evaluation

Leadership skills and traits are the qualities and abilities that enable a person to successfully lead a team, serve as a supervisor, or fill a managerial position. These could be acquired soft and/or technical skills or natural abilities. There are many characteristics of influential leaders, but in this blog, I will mention three leadership characteristics I can find in myself: empathy, critical thinking, and communication.

Empathy:

Understanding the requirements of team members and employees is crucial for leaders. Leaders who demonstrate empathy will better comprehend their team members' views and make decisions that will support their success.

Critical thinking

Leadership can benefit from having the abilities necessary to make reasoned, objective decisions. An objective analysis of a situation and choosing the best action plan for resolution are frequent components of critical thinking.

Communication

In order to be effective, a leader must frequently communicate with a range of team members and employees. In order to coordinate expectations, offer feedback, and share progress updates between teams and departments, leaders may need to use both written and vocal communication.
