Using Canva for more engaging blogging.
Blog graphics help promote the content and get new readers on the page. However, it’s also important to include graphics throughout the blog post to break up the text and further engage the reader.
When creating our own graphics, CANVA is a very useful tool. Canva is an Australian graphic design platform, used to create social media graphics, presentations, posters, documents, and other visual content. The app includes templates for users to use.
In this blog, you will find a complete step-by-step tutorial on how to use Canva from the beginning.
Starting with Canva
First, you have to create an account in Canva. There is a free version of Canva and we will use that in this tutorial. If you are seeking more templates and features you can continue with the pro version.
Selecting the correct canvas for the project
If you want to use a template, you can search for the templates in the home. If you already have created the canvas, you can add a template from the template tab in the workspace. You can use this tab to change your template as well.
Adding Elements
To create an impressive design, using suitable clipart is an important factor. In Canva they have provided a lot of free and paid clipart to use in our project and here they are called "Elements". To add elements you can use the Elements tab in the left side menu. You can search and find suitable elements for your project easily.
Adding your own media to Canva
Do you want to add your own media such as pictures, audio, or video? No problem because Canva has a feature to add our own media to the canvas. To do so you can select the "Uploads" tab from the left side menu.
Adding Heading Styles
When it comes to designing you can use not only images, you can use the font as well. To add font styling you can go to the Text tab from the left side menu. Here Canva has provided a lot of great stylings.
